Providing Patient Care In The San Francisco
Bay Area Since 1996
Lumps, growths or masses in the mouth may represent reactive growths, viral conditions, mucoceles, sialoliths, benign neoplasms, malignant tumors and other conditions. Evaluation is important in order to establish a diagnosis.
Dr. Nita Chainani-Wu has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of oral growths, including use of carbon dioxide laser for biopsies and excision/vaporization of oral growths. In case of a diagnosis of a malignant tumor, management involves a team approach with a surgeon and other health care providers.
